‘He Was Outstanding’ – Rodgers Singles Out Celtic Star for Special Praise

DEDRYCK BOYATA has been singled out by his manager after Celtic beat Aberdeen 1-0 at Celtic Park.

The Belgium defender was in inspired form as he made sure anything coming into the Celtic box was quickly taken care of.

He was also there to make sure young Jack Hendry was ok, regularly telling the defender where he should be and helping out as best he can.

Speaking after the match Brendan Rodgers believed it was right that Dedryck won man of the match.

Celtic got a hard-fought three points but they were on top for most of the game and looked more like the team of old as they passed through the Aberdeen team.

It will be a great confidence boost to the bhoys and yet another performance by Boyata that has vindicated Rodgers keeping hold of the defender for now.
