CELTIC FANS have been reacting to the interim report released on Monday morning which appeared to have a half hearted review about the club’s season.

Nowhere in it did the statement by Ian Bankier address the real issue most fans want answered.

After the discontent at the end of 2020 where many fans asked for the removal of the manager, Celtic put out a statement saying there would be a review in the new year year. Things only deteriorated from that point on and it was clear in January the manager’s race had been run.

However, fans were met with a wall of silence from the club. They didn’t even come out to back the under fire manager.

Bankier’s statement bemoans the pandemic as being the massive cause of Celtic’s woes both and off the pitch. Neil Lennon and his current standings with the club was again not addressed.

Fans want guidance and the ability to look beyond this season. Right now, we’re stuck in Groundhog Day.
