Celtic are very close to announcing their fourth signing of the summer with the signing of Hatem Elhamed and the player has confirmed he’s en-route with his Instagram post.
The player shared a snap of himself on a flight adding to the online speculation his work permit has now been sorted.
The move for the player has been in the works for some time and Hapoel Be’er Sheva confirmed a deal had been agreed last week. It has just been red tape and a medical in the way of the player signing.
Now everything looks sorted Hatem will become Celtic’s third defensive signing of the summer. He can play centre back and right back and at the moment he could be slotted into the latter position.
Unfortunately, the player will not be registered for this round of the Champions League qualifiers having missed both the normal deadline and a the wild card deadline.
