Virgil van Dijk is now a Champions League winner and a Ballon D’or nominee but while the player lives his glamorous life known as one of the best defenders on the planet – there was a time when he answered to Celtic captain Scott Brown.
The Dutchman took time out to talk about the Celtic legend for Scott Brown’s new DVD which was released today and the defender recalls his Celtic living arrangements in the hotel before games.
Virgil talks about trying to get an afternoon nap to relax before a big game and he’d usually be next to Scott Brown’s room and he’d be blaring the ‘Happy Hardcore’ soundtrack to get into the zone for the game.

The Liverpool start also commenting on nobody wanting to go into a 50/50 with the Celtic captain in training because he’d treat it as serious as a competitive game.
