Haksabanovic Challenges His New Celtic Teammates

SEAD HAKSABANOVIC has sent a message to his Celtic teammates; extra training is needed ahead of their make or break Champions league tie against Leipzig.

The Montenegro international won Sky Sports MOTM on Saturday against St Johnstone, a last gasp Celtic winner saving the team’s blushes.

However, Sead bemoaned the lack of cutting edge up front. Something that’s been hindering Celtic over the past month or so.

It wasn’t too long ago the bhoys banged in nine goals against Dundee Utd, now they’re struggling to find the net.

The new Celtic signing believes they all need to buckled down and make sure they’re clinical over the next period of time. It starts on the training ground with staying late to work on their finishing.

“It would have been extremely frustrating if we hadn’t won because we had a lot of chances that we didn’t score from. That last goal made us feel joy and relief. After training, though, we need to stay and do extra on shooting and finishing.” Sead told RecordSport.

Celtic welcome Leipzig to Glasgow on Tuesday night. The Hoops need to get three points on the board to they’ll struggle to get out of the group.

Callum McGregor being out until after the World Cup presents a big issue for Celtic on the night. The bhoys will have to do it without their influential captain.

Extra finishing practice can’t be a bad thing.
