Negotiations with the player have progressed well; all that needs to happen is for Rubin Kazan and Celtic to agree on the fee. The player’s position is clear; he wants Celtic.
The versatile player was linked to Celtic earlier in the window. However, the Hoops ended their interest after they were priced out of a move. But, their interest was resumed after the Russian side accepted that the player was destined to leave them this summer and was open to selling the winger for a cut price.
Haksabanovic has a point to prove and he’s at a great age where he can begin to fulfil his potential. Having Ange as a manager will only help him.
It’s got to be said; it looks like Celtic is about to sign a top player who is going to improve the attacking line. Capable of playing on both wings and behind the striker, he’ll add great depth to Ange’s squad.
