Reports overnight by RecordSport claim Scott Sinclair has left the Celtic training camp in Dubai to go hold talks with Championship club Preston about a return to England after three and a half years in the Hoops.
Sinclair was a pivotal part of the treble treble years but has found himself on the outside looking in under Neil Lennon.
Brendan Rodgers was the man to bring him into the club and it has to be regarded as one of Brendan’s best signings for the club.
The Invincible season in-particular the player was on a different level. After that, his performances might not have always been there but Scotty came with a guarantee of goals.
As the player edges towards the exit, a lot of people are eulogising his Celtic career and quite rightly so. The Englishman has left an indelible mark on the clubs history regardless of what happens in the future – these fans agree.
