Celtic are reportedly closing in on the sale of Gustaf Lagerbielke, with Portuguese side Braga nearing an agreement to sign the Swedish defender in a deal worth around £2 million.
Sky Sports’ Anthony Joseph reports that Braga are in advanced talks with Celtic, and both clubs are hopeful of finalising the transfer in the coming days.

The 25-year-old centre-back is understood to be keen on the move, with plans being made for him to travel to Portugal later this week to undergo a medical.
Lagerbielke joined Celtic from Elfsborg in the summer of 2023 for a fee believed to be around £3 million but has struggled to make an impact at Parkhead.
He featured rarely under Brendan Rodgers before being sent out on loan to Dutch side FC Twente in August. Despite a solid run of games in the Eredivisie, Twente opted not to make the move permanent.

Braga have now stepped in to offer the Swede a fresh start, with Celtic prepared to take a hit on their initial investment to move him on.
