CELTIC have been running an advent calendar series on their social media platforms, with Friday the 16th as a sit down with Greg Taylor and James McCarthy.
The pair had questions posed to them to answer who suited it the best, during which the left-back was gifted the perfect opportunity to bring up James McCarthy’s previous comments.
When the Irishman first signed for the Hoops, a clip from his press conference done the rounds on social media, showing James McCarthy admit he trained and played a few games with Celtic under-17s. Fans were quick to point out he sounded similar to Brendan Rodgers.

When asked who was the least motivated in training, Greg nudged Macca and tried to imitate the clip.

The players are well aware of what the fans are picking up on and are clearly loving it. Haksabanovic heard his song before it reached Celtic Park, and Tony Ralston and CCV both learned of their nicknames last season.
