GREG Taylor is looking to create Celtic history and provide Celtic fans with special nights that will live long in the memory.

Last season, Celtic put up some great performances in the elite competition but finished with nothing to show for it. So far, this Champions League campaign is shaping up to be more of the same for Celtic.
A good performance against Feyenoord led to a 2-0 defeat, with Celtic more than competitive until Gus Lagerbielke and Odin Holm were shown red. Against Lazio, the Hoops took the lead, but conceded from a corner before halftime. Then, Luis Palma thought he’d scored the winner until VAR ruled it out. Pedro scored the winner for Lazio in the dying seconds.
The challenge Atletico Madrid pose is the biggest that Celtic will face in the group, and they’re in some decent form heading into Wednesday night’s clash.
Celtic left-back Greg Taylor is targeting history with results, rather than performances heading into the clash. Speaking to Celtic TV, he said:
“You are spot on [Celtic compete and don’t get results].
“Last season we performed well and had nothing to show for it. We don’t want to be that type of team we want to be a team that has special nights here and creates our own history.
“I think we are not built to be a team like that [who don’t results in Europe]. We are built to be a team that wants to be pressing up high and playing aggressive football.
“I think that is also what the club demands and it is not just the players and the staff. It’s the way that a Celtic team should play.
“We work every day to try and play that way so to try and change that style for a one-off game I would not understand that.”
