Greg Taylor Warns January Additions Will Take Celtic’s Game To Another Level
Celtic defender Greg Taylor has sent a warning to teams in the league that the Hoops latest January additions will take the team up to another level.
The Scottish champions got their business done early during the window and added four new additions to the side which included Alistair Johnston, Yuki Kobayashi, Tomoki Iwata and Oh Hyeon-gyu.
They continued their magnificent league form in the 3-0 demolition of Livingston to retain their nine point advantage at the top of the table with 14 games remaining in the league. The form the side has shown has been absolutely first class and everything appears to be nicely coming together as Ange Postecoglou’s side look to compete in three competitions.
Alistair Johnston has made the biggest impact since arriving from MLS side CF Montreal as he has slotted into the side to replace the outgoing Josip Juranovic. Elsewhere, the other three January signings have all been building their minutes up as they look to make an impact on the remainder of the season.
Taylor has been left impressed by the new arrivals and now admits that he expects them to take ‘Angeball’ to another level in the coming months.
“They’ve settled really well. You see Oh when he came on, he’s a handful, he’s young and eager and he’s going to bring something to the party,” said Taylor as quoted by the [Daily Record].

“Tommo and Ally have settled in straight away, Yuki, they’ve all contributed already at an early stage and I’m sure that’ll continue as the season goes on.”
Even though there has been a number of fresh faces, everyone appears to integrate so well which has been down to the environment that Postecoglou has created for players.
That belief runs through the dressing room and players know they must always be on their toes as the quality of talent can never be underestimated.
“The manager has a clear philosophy so it’s easier for the boys who come in because we’ve a set way of playing.
“We know they’ll give 100 percent. The mentality of the new guys is outstanding and hopefully that’ll be the case with any other new guys who come through the door.

“I’m sure they will have that too. They’ve settled well but we’ve lost boys who’ve done really well for us and it’s important to be grateful for their contribution.
“But the new lads will be major contributors as the season goes on.”
