Over the past few games, the Celtic starting lineup has begun to gain some consistency. Since the Lazio match at the beginning of October, the eleven who have started each game have more or less been the same.
This has only been positive for the Bhoys, claims left-back Greg Taylor. He said (Daily Record): “Over the past four, five six games, it’s been quite a settled team. We’ve managed to find some consistency in the line-up and have found a good rhythm with the boys and good relationships. That helps. We’ve got a strong squad and everyone wants to play.”

Playing alongside the same players each week can only benefit the team. It helps the Bhoys to get to know their teammates’ styles even better which helps them combine effectively.
As the weeks go on, it doesn’t seem that there will be many other alterations in terms of the starting lineup for the Celts. Reo Hatate will be missing which will give the likes of Paulo Bernardo and Tomoki Iwata opportunities but apart from that, there are few glaring issues in the starting team that need to be addressed.
