Greg Taylor Celtic Exit Latest

Greg Taylor has reportedly been given until the end of June to make a decision on his future, with Greek side PAOK pushing for an answer as they plan for next season’s Europa League campaign.

The Celtic left-back, whose contract is close to expiring this month, is weighing up his next move after five seasons at Parkhead. PAOK are said to have offered a two-year deal with an option for a third – one that would surpass his current Celtic salary.

Brendan Rodgers has yet to publicly shut the door on an extended Celtic stay, but the reports currently around the player don’t give that option much oxygen.

Greek outlet Sport Dog now reports that Taylor has been set a firm deadline. The 27-year-old will need to decide by the time PAOK’s first pre-season training camp begins at the end of the month.

Taylor’s future in Glasgow has been uncertain for some time. Talks over a new contract have stalled, and with Kieran Tierney confirmed to return to Celtic this summer, competition for the left-back slot will intensify. Scott Brown recently suggested it might be time for Taylor to move on, though Brendan Rodgers has stated the door remains open for an extension.

Taylor has featured in over 150 games for Celtic, playing a key role during a period of domestic dominance. However, with his current deal winding down and options on the table, the clock is ticking on a decision that could bring his time at the club to a close.
