The Green Brigade have issued a public apology to Celtic supporters, acknowledging recent incidents that have negatively impacted the matchday experience of fellow fans. The statement, shared via the North Curve Celtic X account, comes just ahead of Celtic’s upcoming clash against Aberdeen.
The fan group admitted to creating “incidents at matches that have regrettably impacted the experience of other supporters.” They also noted that their handling of these situations had further worsened matters, demonstrating an awareness of the frustration felt by some sections of the Celtic support.
While the group do not specify the incidents, there has been speculation over some of their displays blocking fans from seeing the game and some other minor issues where they admit that some within the group have not handled situations well.

The Green Brigade’s statement included a promise to be “more mindful” and “more respectful to other supporters” going forward. This marks a significant step as the group aims to balance their passionate support with consideration for the wider fanbase.
We’re all Celtic fans at the end of the day, and we all support Celtic in our own way, but we must always show respect toorters and make sure we do not negatively impact our fellow supp someone’s visit to the football.
