Celtic are looking to open up a staggering sixteen point lead in the SPFL table this afternoon as the Champions host St Mirren. A sixteen point gap at this stage of the season is unbelievable although the Ibrox team will have two games in hand.
Celtic will play the second-placed team next Sunday but Neil Lennon was not messing around today with his team selection as he named a strong starting eleven with a star-studded bench to boot.
The majority of Celtic fans were also happy with the return of two strikers for today’s clash. Leigh Griffiths and Edouard have been on fire in 2020 so far and giving their manager a major alternative when needed.
It took just under twenty minutes today before the pairing gave their manager a big decision to make before next weeks derby game with this goal. A great finish by Griffiths but the vision and precise assist by Edouard is a joy to watch too.
