CELTIC FANS will continue to get the same paltry number of tickets for the Glasgow Derby this season as they have since 2018.
When Celtic were hoovering up trophy after trophy at the expense of our Glasgow rivals, the Ibrox club called time on the gentleman’s agreement that had stood for some time.
Celtic get around 800 tickets for Ibrox and the Scottish Champions will reciprocate.

Sources at the club told CeltsAreHere last season they were very much open to a dialogue about getting more away fans into the ground for these games, even if it didn’t quite get back to the previous numbers.
The fracas at the beginning of the season when Rangers decided to pull the 800 briefs from the Celtic ticket office last minute put an end to any talks. At the time, Rangers wanted assurances they would get 800 for the return New Years fixture. Celtic responded by saying if all things are equal they would get their tickets. The Hoops couldn’t personally guarantee the tickets because they had no idea what the pandemic landscape would look like.
Celtic were ultimately vindicated when the January derby had to be moved to February because of a circuit breaker lockdown. The Ibrox club voted against moving the game to February and had the brass neck to try and get the game played behind closed doors.
In the end, Celtic blew away their rivals and took a massive step towards the title that night in February.
The atmosphere was red hot and Celtic were sensational.
There will be a small band of Rangers fans in the corner for the game at the beginning of September.
