WE have been monitoring this all week with the current threat of the coronavirus looming over the UK and Scotland. Would the Glasgow Derby go ahead and if it does, will it be in front of a packed stadium?
The answer to both, apparently, is YES!
While talk of cancelling mass gatherings is on the table, the first minister has come out this afternoon and said they will take a view on this AFTER the weekend.
This means the game is free to go ahead under its usual circumstances.
FM: "The Health Secretary and I have decided this morning that we are minded that we will advise the cancellation, from the start of next week, of mass gatherings of 500 people or more." #FMQs

This could be seen as wildly irresponsible from the Scottish Government given the measures taken elsewhere with countries affected by the virus.
So, the decision will completely lie with the football governing body for the time being.
The SFA and SPFL would be the only bodies who could stop a mass gathering but given the Government is allowing things to continue over the weekend, it’s highly likely the Derby game will go ahead in front of a capacity crowd.
Unless the UK government force the SNPs hand on this occasion.
