Former Celtic striker Chris Sutton continued his relentless trolling of ex-Rangers players just days after roasting Kenny Miller for his Glasgow Derby meltdown.
During the studio coverage for the Rangers vs Dundee match at Ibrox, Sutton shifted his focus to former Ibrox striker Kris Boyd.
Boyd was passionately ranting about how Rangers need a rebuild and emphasising that the club’s identity is rooted in winning titles. Sutton, never one to miss an opportunity, quickly interjected with, “not recently.” Boyd, visibly irked, retorted, “still won the most,” to which Sutton replied with a cutting, “give it a year.”
This exchange was amusing to say the least. Celtic are on the verge next season of matching the major league titles accumulated by both the old Rangers and the new Rangers. 55 titles, and Celtic will be on 54 when they wrap up the league this week after winning 3 out of the 4 derbies this season.
Sutton, known for his sharp wit and penchant for winding up Rangers pundits, particularly enjoys getting under Boyd’s skin.
