The summer transfer window is beginning to garner activity as the days go by, with several players on the move.
Celtic have yet to do any business despite being linked to several names, but one of their ex-players has recently found a new club.
Indeed, striker Giorgos Giakoumakis, who spent 18 months in Glasgow under Ange Postecoglou’s reign, has departed Atlanta United after little under a year and a half, signing for Mexican top-tier side Cruz Azul.

The 29-year-old has relocated to Central America after a prosperous spell in the MLS, at least regarding goalscoring.
Giakoumakis didn’t win any trophies with Atlanta, but he scored 24 goals and set up five in 43 appearances for the club.
He departs the USA after leaving an impactful mark on the MLS, but he is living up to a journeyman status following his latest move.
Azul is Giakoumakis’ third new club in the space of three years but he is continually scoring and relocating doesn’t seem to bother him.
