Former Rangers manager Gio Van Bronckhorst has reportedly targeted Portuguese winger Jota for a potential move.

This comes a year after Jota’s high-profile £25 million transfer from Celtic to Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad, which has not gone as planned for the player.
Gio watched on as Jota scored from a remarkable chip over Jon McLaughlin in a 4-0 victory under Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou, with the Dutchman watching his side get dismantled from the technical area.
The recent signing of winger Diaby from Aston Villa will further limit his opportunities, prompting more speculation about his future.
According to Turkish media outlet Al-Ain, Besiktas has stepped in with a loan offer to bring the 25-year-old winger to Turkey for the season. It has been reported that Van Bronckhorst’s team has made an official approach to bring Jota back to Europe.
Jota is said to be keen on the move, looking to revive his career in Europe after a challenging stint in the Middle East.
