STEVEN GERRARD has embarrassed himself today by suggesting the referee had some part to play in his side’s downfall.
The hapless Gers boss suggested the Ibrox club should have been given a foul up the pitch before Celtic’s breakaway winner.
Instead of conceding that his team were comprehensively outplayed today he put as many squirrels in front of himself as possible.
What Gerrard won’t tell you and will not admit to is his THUG goalkeeper should have been sent off for his blatant kick out at Ajer in the first half.
After the play had gone and the ball had been won, the goalkeeper took his opportunity to lash out at the defender and have a dig at a fellow professional for the second week running.
What an absolute scumbag. How is he still on the pitch? pic.twitter.com/UKXDXCcE37

The goalkeeper was the reason The Rangers were only beaten by one goal today instead of three or four.
Gerrard has started the blame game – it’s the beginning of the end.
