Scotland were brought back down to earth with an almighty thud against the Czech Republic on Monday afternoon. Steve Clarke’s men were beaten 2-0 in a hugely disappointing day for the national side.
There always has to be villains and Jack Hendry is catching some flak for the second goal which effectively put the game beyond Scotland.
Jack had just hit the crossbar when he found himself high up the field with the ball at his feet. Instead of passing to a teammate, the defender let rip – bouncing off a Czech player and falling into the path of Schick who caught David Marshall well off his line. It was a tremendous strike but calamitous from Scotland’s point of view.
Celtic fans have been discussing Hendry’s good season in Belgium and whether the club should have moved heaven and earth to keep him at the club.
It’s believed Jack has already committed his future to Oostende [RecordSport] but there’s not been official word yet. These Celtic fans don’t appear to be too fussed after watching that game.
On the back of today's Scotland performance, Celtic should take the money quickly off Jack Hendry's side in Belgium. pic.twitter.com/d4aio8KYHM

I think those people wanting Jack Hendry back at Celtic need not worry any longer.
