As Celtic now come to the business end of the season, it looks as though the long waits for fans departing the ground are going to become even longer.
Although the club have some parking facilities for buses at either end of the Jock Stein and Lisbon Lions stand as well as behind the Emirates there is still a heavy amount of traffic which has to depart Parkhead on a matchday.
The club are in constant engagement with the authorities about this and have before suggested that traffic lights are switched off but that was knocked back as local residents and commuters had complained to the council.
Cycle lanes on London Road have already caused extra congestion which will now be further impacted by road works outside the stadium that are set to be there for a while.
CeltsAreHere understands that the road works are set to remain in place at the stadium until June time which will mean even further long waits for fans trying to exit the stadium whether they are on a bus or in a car.
In the coming months, there will be large crowds which will descend upon Celtic Park as there is still one derby matched to be played as well as post-split fixtures.
