Celtic’s SPFL fixtures have dropped and it’s all getting real!
Returning Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers now knows the pathway to success and it goes through a September date at Ibrox!
The bhoys will be kicking their campaign off against Ross County in early August where they will unfurl the Champions flag.
Celtic are going for three in a row, but there’s also the added incentive of automatic qualification for the NEW Champions League format that will see clubs play at least 8 games in the competition instead of the traditional six.
With the fixtures now out, fans will start to make plans and trips to Celtic Park. All these dates are subject to change with TV and likely moving when Champions League fixtures come out – the European competition kicking off in September.
The first Glasgow Derby at home will be the new year’s fixture but will be played this side of the year at the end of December.
