Full Breakdown of Celtic’s 2025/26 Premiership Fixtures

The SPFL have officially released the full fixture list for the 2025/26 Scottish Premiership season, with Celtic set to open their campaign at home to St Mirren on Sunday, 3rd August.

Brendan Rodgers’ side will be aiming to retain their title, and they’ll begin the defence of the trophy at Celtic Park before facing early away tests against Aberdeen and Rangers within the first month.

The first Glasgow Derby of the season arrives on the final weekend of August, when Celtic travel across the city to face Rangers at Ibrox on Sunday, 31st August. The return fixture at Celtic Park is set for Saturday, 3rd January, a date that’s sure to be circled by both sets of supporters.

A third league meeting between the sides will come on 28th February at Ibrox once again, meaning Celtic will host just one league derby before the league split.

Celtic will be busy over the festive period, with six fixtures scheduled between 3rd and 30th December. That run includes away trips to Falkirk, Livingston, and Motherwell, alongside home matches against Dundee and Aberdeen. With squad rotation likely, this stretch could prove decisive in the title race.

Newly promoted Falkirk return to the top flight and will visit Celtic Park on 29th October. The Bairns host Celtic for the reverse fixture on 13th December. Rodgers’ side will also face Dundee United twice before the end of January.

The final run of matches before the league split sees Celtic away to Dundee on 4th April before wrapping up their pre-split campaign at home to St Mirren on 11th April. By that point, the table should be taking shape, and Celtic will be hoping to be leading once again.

With European qualifiers and cup competitions yet to be scheduled, fixture congestion could be a factor, but the league dates are now set. Celtic’s path to potentially yet another title has been laid out, and it starts at Celtic Park in just six weeks’ time.
