CHRIS SUTTON has piled praise on two of Celtic’s biggest stars as we get ready for the new season.
The former Celtic striker has been having his say on who will be the number one striker this season at Parkhead.
Kyogo and Giakoumakis both showed last season they’re more than capable of taking on the mantle as Celtic’s top striker. The way it worked out, Kyogo was fit for the first half of the season then Giakoumakis stepped in to build on the Japanese striker’s great work for the second half..

It was only toward the end of last season, Ange had both players to call on. In fact, in the final game of the season, both men got minutes on the field and they both scored a brace. Is this a sign of things to come?
Speaking about both men’s attributes, Sutton believes the two Celtic men are so different, it’s a frightening prospect for the opposition. Citin they could be training all week to deal with one striker and the other one pops up.
Kyogo wasn’t an out-and-out No.9 in Japan and there could be times when the pair of them play as a partnership. It’s a frightening prospect for defences. Like I say, nice problems for a manager to have. It’s now mainly about making tweaks rather than huge changes for Postecoglou

If Celtic can keep both players fit this season, it is indeed a frightening prospect. Both men know where the goal is, both men have already proved themselves to be big game winners. We can’t wait to see what they can do this term.
