Fresh Start – Midfielder Who Was Set For Exit To Be Given Another Chance

Tom Rogic is set to be given a fresh start at Celtic, with the appointment of the new permanent manager Ange Postecoglou.

Postecoglou is a familiar face to the attacking midfielder, who played under the 55-year old when he was manager of the Australian National side.

Last season, it looked like Rogic’s stay at the club was set to come to an end with a deal in Qatar agreed. However, at the last minute, it broke down, meaning that he stayed in Glasgow last season.

As reported by The Athletic, the 28-year old looked set to depart once again this summer as part of the club’s rebuild with sides in Asia interested in making a move.

But with the appointment of Postecoglou, that situation could have changed, meaning a fresh beginning for Rogic.

With the ability that Rogic has, he is capable of doing special things with a football, and he has shown that over the years spent at the Hoops.

However, in the last year, we simply haven’t seen that enough and add in the injury problems he has suffered.

If Postecoglou feels that he can get the best out of Rogic again, then great. But at this stage, it feels like a big if.

Only time will tell whether we can see the Australian internationalist back to his best going into next season.
