Jozo Simunovic is reportedly wanted in France by Liga 1 side Lille in a move that would certainly raise a few eyebrows.
Jozo signed a new deal with Celtic last year and is contracted to the club until 2021.
However, the Bosnian has fell out of favour with Brendan Rodgers in recent times – The Irishman preferring to play Ajer alongside Boyata when both are fit.
Jozo made a short appearance in last season’s cup final after Ajer went off injured late in the game against Motherwell.
Jozo has said on several occasions he wants to stay at Celtic but will Lille test Celtic’s and the player’s loyalty.
They are willing to spend €6million in order to secure the deal.
