SHANE DUFFY has come in for some criticism since coming into Celtic but his performance against Sparta has tipped many people defending him over the edge.
Celtic went down to a Sparta Prague B team at Celtic Park with the most woeful defending you’re likely to ever see. The game ended 4-1.
The third goal had people wincing as Shane Duffy was floored and couldn’t handle an onrushing attacker.
The whole team looked lethargic but the mistakes in defending have been embarrassing and pathetic in equal measure.
That’s 13 goals conceded in six games for Celtic, utterly unacceptable and while we can sympathise with the player, we can’t support his constant inclusion in the team when everyone is fit.
The defeat to Sparta Prague is as shocking as it gets for Celtic who stumble from one European disaster to the next.
The fans haven’t taken this result well, and nor should they. It’s an embarrassing and infuriating result.
