Former Top Celtic Youth Prospect Makes Season Long Bayern Exit

Celtic consistently have a wealth of top talents coming through at Lennoxtown although a number of them seem to be nabbed by big clubs.

Barry Hepburn was one of those. In August of 2020, Hepburn joined German giants Bayern Munich from Celtic.

It was an offer the then 16 year old couldn’t turn down and throughout his time in Germany so far, Hepburn has rose through the ranks.

This summer, he is in search of first team football and has made a return to Glasgow on loan.

For 2023/24, Hepburn will play his football in the city’s Southside with Queen’s Park.

An ambitious club who are aiming to return to their previous high status in Scottish football, it will be intriguing to see how the 19 year old gets on.

He will undoubtedly have had several opportunities from other clubs but a return to his homeland will have suited him majorly.

It is certain Celtic fans will keep a close eye on the winger throughout the forthcoming campaign as he was once billed as one of the top talents at Lennoxtown.
