Former Rodgers Celtic Signing Finally Finds New Club

It seems like a lifetime ago that we had him on the books at Celtic Park but Oli Burke has found game time hard to come by in his career to date.

A big money move to Leipzig early in his career has seen him slowly slip down the footballing pole. Moving to West Brom, he thought his career could take off but eventually he was surplus to requirements; loaned out several times and for six months to Celtic when Brendan Rodgers brought him in.

The player now appears to be ready to kick start his career with the pacy winger closing in on a deal with Sheffield Utd according to SunSport.

Oli needs game time to improve. He did ok at the start of his Celtic loan move but quickly cooled off. His pace is great but his foot work leaves a lot to be desired. Perhaps a new start will do the Scottish international the world of good.
