Former Recruitment Chief Set To Link Up With Ex Hoops Boss

Former Celtic scout John Park is reportedly set to link up with ex Hoops boss Tony Mowbray as he prepares to take up the Head of Recruitment role at English Championship side Blackburn Rovers.

As reported by the Glasgow Times, Park is set to return to the UK for his new role at Ewood Park, with his last job being in Poland at Legia Warsaw.

Famously, John Park was behind some of the club’s best deals in recent times, signing the likes of Virgil Van Dijk, Victor Wanyama and Fraser Forster, who have gone on to not only be successful at the Hoops but also down south in the English Premier League.

He was let go by former manager Brendan Rodgers and had since when on to clubs such as the Polish side and even been linked with a possible return to the club recently.

He will now link up with someone he has worked with in the past at Celtic, Tony Mowbray, who is the boss at Blackburn.
