It’s battle of the former Celtic strikers!
Chris Sutton has taken issue with Premier League fans inundating him with posts about how Celtic should take what they’re given for Kieran Tierney while watching Manchester Utd put in a £50million bid for Wan Bissaka.
The Englishman always calls it as he sees it without fear or favour but his stance on Celtic holding out for big money with Kieran Tierney has caused Scott McDonald to brand Sutton a ‘Celtic cheerleader’.
Chris behave stop being celtic cheer leader Scotland has a price simples like it or lump it people will always question weather a player north of the border can do it in prem hence the price tag cause they play in an inferior league FACT hence your price when you left Chelsea

The acceptance by McDonald for Celtic or any other Scottish club to know their place is quite baffling. The player can be put in a category of a guy that’s come from Scottish football, went down south and been absolutely woeful – aiding the stereotype!
Chris Sutton speaks as a man who has won both the EPL and SPFL and he knows the quality that can come from Scottish football and wants to see club’s get top dollar or their players.
Kieran Tierney is a special player and should not be going on the cheap to anyone. If they believe KT isn’t worth it then they should move on and leave the inferior league alone.
Given two Champions League winners and a finalist have come out of the SPFL in Virgil van Dijk, Andy Robertson and Victor Wanyama. Scott’s stance is baffling and smacks of trying to play the pessimistic pundit game that so many ex-Celts dine out on.
