Former Ibrox Man in Frame For Celtic Role

It’s been a bizarre season but it feels like it’s only getting more and more crazy as the days pass by.

Eddie Howe was set to become the new Celtic manager until it all collapsed at the final hurdle. We then seemingly chase Ange Postecoglou who hasn’t got the correct UEFA badges to be in the dugout for European games at Celtic Park.

The Hoops are now waiting on a UEFA judgement on what happens next and while this goes on we have reports of Ange assembling his backroom team.

The Scotsman has gone one further and claimed fellow Australian and former Ibrox player Kevin Muscat is in the frame to become one of Postecoglou’s coaches at the club.

This would be keeping in line with the utterly bizarre and unpredictable story to date.

Muscat played for Rangers pre-2012 and the 47-year-old has played under Ange in Australia.

We had weeks of stories about Eddie Howe assembling his dream team so we’ll be taking everything with a pinch of salt right now.
