Former Celt’s Dream Hangs in the Balance over Club ‘Financial Irregularities’

LIAM HENDERSON hopes of playing in Serie A have taken a major hit after his new side Bari face a points deduction for ‘Financial irregularities’.

BARI who are scheduled in for a home tie in the playoffs for a Serie A spot will be docked 2 points if their appeal isn’t overturned tomorrow.

The implication being – if the two points dropped stand then Bari would have to play an away tie rather than a home tie which they’ve already sold a large number of tickets for. Leaving them at a major disadvantage.

Liam signed for Bari in January after getting Celtic gaffer, Brendan Rodgers’ blessing to make the full time move to Italy.

His dream remains to be a Serie A player but everything is up in the air at the moment with the player caught up in this financial storm.

The hearing of Bari’s appeal is tomorrow.

We hope Henderson can realise his dream.
