Former Celt’s Astonishing Attack on Scott Brown After Title Win

DAVIE PROVAN has taken an astonishing swipe at Celtic Captain Scott Brown after the midfielder helped Celtic to their 8th consecutive title and his 9th at Celtic overall.

Instead of congratulating Broony and his teammates, Provan uses his column to slam the player for his antics at Celtic Park against The Rangers and declares he doesn’t live up to the badge.

This is what we’re up against I’m afraid – a former Celt who can’t even give the club and the players kudos for what they’ve achieved.

This is a captain who has presided over a double treble, an invincible season, won countless medals and accolades but yet Provan writes this in today’s Sun.

“Brown secured his ninth league title yesterday and if he isn’t among the most gifted Celtic captains, he has to be the luckiest

“Despite the silverware Broony’s piled up, he’s well down the list of proper Celtic players.

“Thanks to fawning media coverage, his reputation has always outstripped his ability.”

On the game against The Rangers when he celebrated by throwing his arms up at front of the away fans, Provan said the following:

“If you’re Celtic skipper you’re supposed to lead by example, but Brown has never lived up to the armband.

“Sure, he broke no rules, but his behaviour was cheap.”

Absolute nonsense from Provan who is making a nice living for himself sticking the boot into Celtic. What’s he going to say when we start losing trophies?!
