Former Celt’s Ange Postecoglou Warning

Mark Wilson has warned Celtic need to start getting results on the road and Ange has to make sure that happens over the next month.

Celtic fell to their third away defeat of the season at Livingston and trail their Glasgow rivals by four points already.

All is not lost, but Celtic are low on reinforcements and injuries to key players have really halted our progress.

The feel good factor Kyogo brought with him has been put on ice while the Japanese star sits on the sidelines. Until the striker does come back, Celtic need to make sure they keep in touch at the top of the table.

Speaking after the defeat to Livingston, former Celtic defender Mark Wilson knows the Celtic fans are behind Ange but the results need to come.

“Ange Postecoglou, the Celtic fans hold him in high regard because of the way he plays, but there has got to come a time where they have to stop conceding soft goals”, Wilson told SSB on Sunday evening.

“And that has to be soon. They have played six games and lost three of those. That can’t continue for much longer.”

Verdict

The Celtic manager is further along in this rebuild than many of us thought they were but it is unacceptable for Celtic to lose 3 games out of their first 6. The Hoops only lost 5 games in the whole of last season.

Ange can take this team forward, in the short term, we need to find a way to win.
