Former Celtic Striker Confirms He’s a Free Agent This Summer

Former Celtic striker Teemu Pukki will depart Norwich City at the end of the current campaign.

The Finnish striker made the move to Glasgow in summer 2013 however would spend just one season in green and white, scoring seven goals in 33 appearances across all competitions.

Pukki failed to capture the imagination in Glasgow’s east end and left for Brondby in Denmark. He initially joined them on loan prior to making the move permanent in 2015. After three years there, he joined Norwich City in England.

At the Canaries, Pukki found a home. By some, he is regarded as a club legend having scored 88 goals in 204 total appearances up to this point. In addition, he won two Championship titles and is fourth in the all time Norwich scoring charts.

Now, though, it has been confirmed Pukki will depart the East Anglian club at the end of the season following a greatly prosperous four year spell.

At 33, it remains unclear whether or not the former Celtic striker will join a new club in the summer as a free agent or call an end to his playing days yet whatever happens, Hoops fans will be wishing Pukki all the best.
