SIMON DONNELLY has absolutely nailed it when he spoken about how the Celtic support are feeling on the Huddle Podcast.
The hold up in naming our new manager s a source of massive frustration for the fanbase who wants to shake off last season very quickly.
The only way we can start to look to the future is when things start to happen. Right now, we’re in purgatory, not being told much and waiting for much needed positive news.
Asked if Celtic will be making moves behind the scenes Sid told Mark Wilson he believes that is the case but the fans need to be told what’s going on:
“No doubt about that, if it’s Eddie and whatever the plans are, there will things being put in place
“The frustration for the fans is we’ve been talking about it for so long, we want things to happen now.
“We want the excitement now, who’s the new staff that are coming up
“Who are they going to recruit, all these exciting things to lift everybody.”
It was the beginning of April when some of the most ‘in the know’ sources told us the Eddie Howe deal was as good as done. We’re heading into the final third of May and we’re still waiting on white smoke.
Something’s got to give. The turnover time for season ticket renewals and the start of the new season is going to be very short.
Our first game will be in just around two months time, it would be great if we got a move on!
