Former Celtic defender and friend of the site Erik Sviatchenko ha made it to the Champions League proper with his hometown club.
The centre-back has been doing well since leaving Glasgow to return to FC Midtjylland, and now he’ll have a crack at the Champions League.

Erik was signed under former Celtic boss Ronny Deila and was used by Brendan Rodgers for the first six months of the manager’s Celtic run. However, Erik was dropped like a bad habit after the winter break with Rodgers rehabilitating Dedryk Boyata and choosing to play the Belgian ahead of Erik.
He initially went back on loan to Denmark before a full time deal was thrashed out.
Erik now has the Champions League draw to look forward to while Celtic are looking to make the group stage of the Europa League.
We wish him all the best in what will be one of the most surreal seasons in the Champions League.
