Some former Celtic players were quick to congratulate Celtic yesterday after clinching eight in a row at Pittodrie.

The bhoys won 3-0 on the day to confirm themselves as champions again and some old familiar faces were watching in the wings.

Celtic retweeted some of them with Paddy McCourt, Shay Given, Stefan Johansen and Joe Ledley all offering their congratulations.

Big Pierre was also there to give the bhoys a cheer on social media!

Celtic’s title win was all the more significant when you think about what’s gone on this season. The injury crisis that seemed to go on forever, Dembele and Rodgers both packing their bags at important times during the season and a poor start to the campaign.

Yet the club sit today with a double and still a potential treble treble to win.

The bhoys have two games before they head to Hampden to take on Hearts in the Scottish Cup Final.
