Former Celtic Misfit Reveals Brendan Rodgers Talks

SCOTT ALLAN has taken part in his first proper interview since leaving Celtic after his ill-fated Celtic move came to an end.

The player was signed under Ronny Deila but would be cast aside by the Norwegian, then again by Brendan Rodgers and ironically it was Neil Lennon who signed the midfielder on a pre-contract for Hibernian before leaving the Easter Road club and heading back to Celtic.

Allan thought there was a genuine chance Brendan seen something in him and recalled many talks in the Irishman’s office about where he seen Scott in the team.

Speaking to PLZ Soccer the Hibs midfielder claimedRodgers seen him more as a defensive midfielder than an attacking threat.

However, while Rodgers didn’t look like selling the player he eventually ended up out on loan again.

There was a mystery around why we ever signed the player who never really got a chance or a proper run in the team.
