Former Celtic Managerial Target On Brink Of The Sack

Before Eddie Howe had ‘agreed in principle to become Celtic’s new manager, Celtic was linked to American manager, Jesse Marsch. Although, he did later rule himself out of a job in Parkhead’s dugout but did state that it was an ‘honour’ to be linked to the position.  [The Herald]

It looks like Celtic may have dodged another bullet, Marsch is now under intense pressure after three straight defeats in the league with RB Leipzig who he joined in the summer. The club is set to decide on his future ‘soon’.

He joins Enzo Maresca in the list of lucky escapes after he was removed from his top position in Parma. Eddie Howe is still in search of his first win as Newcastle manager.

Ange Postecoglou was an amazing find. He has got the team playing some really good football, is nice on the eye, and has the full backing of the fans. Fans embraced the Aussie from the off and we haven’t looked back yet.
