Former Celtic Loan Star Set for Permanent Switch Abroad

Former Celtic player Oliver Burke could be set to end his West Brom stay this summer after three years at the club.

The Scottish international tried to win a permanent switch to Celtic two seasons ago BUT he didn’t do enough at the club after an initial good start.

SunSport report this evening, Turkish side Trabzonspor are looking to make a move for Oli and end his frustrating stay in England.

The winger had a lot of hype surrounding him during the early part of his career. He has the strength and speed but the control isn’t there. Neil Lennon certainly didn’t fancy the midfielder after taking over from Brendan Rodgers.

His last loan spell was with Alavés, where he played 31 times for the Spanish outfit, there’s no sign the La Liga side wanting to keep him on.

Burke is only 23 and has plenty of time to meet his early promise. We wish him all the best of the secures a move away from West Brom this window.
