Former Celtic Hero Trolls Ibrox Club After Euro Humiliation

John Hartson – The Welshman, who netted nearly a century of goals for the Hoops, couldn’t resist taking a cheeky swipe at Rangers following their humiliating loss in Cyprus.

Hartson took to X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, to extend his “congratulations” to Limassol on their historic victory. “Great win Limassol… 1st win ever in the group stages,” he penned, his words dripping with irony. To add a cherry on top, he garnished his tweet with a pair of clapping emojis. The Cypriot side won 2-1 on the night in the Europa League clash.

For those of us in the Celtic support, Hartson’s dig was an amusing moment. Less than 24 hours after our rivals were trying to take digs at Celtic in their Champions League exploits.

Hartson, a man who knows a thing or two about scoring goals and winning matches, clearly relished the opportunity to remind The Rangers of their shortcomings.
