Former Celtic Hero Talks ‘Amazing’ Moment He Sent Rangers Fans Home

MIKAEL LUSTIG ended his eight year association with Celtic in an official capacity this summer but the club is never far away from the defender’s thoughts. We have already seen the pictures of Mikael watching the first Glasgow Derby of the season on an ipad in Belgium and congratulating the players on their win.

The Celtic hero took time to answer questions from a Celtic fan account on Friday with some questions about highlights of his Celtic career. There was only one thing that stuck out above all else and you can probably guess what it was.

Mikael talking of the goal that put number five in the bag for Celtic at Ibrox, sending what was left of the Gers fans home.

The defender came from nowhere that day to ride a few challenges and then score an absolutely outstanding goal.

His celebration was even better in front of one of the last times we’d have 7000 at Ibrox.
