With the January transfer window not too far away, rumours have already began to circulate around what movement there will be at clubs.
The typical winter break usually leaves some weeks free for journalists to come up with rumours but football will be ongoing while the window is open this time around.
Ange Postecoglou has already been clear that his planning for the January window is already complete having identified targets with the coming months being used to prepare for the summer window.

One of those targets is potentially Vissel Kobe defender Yuki Kobayashi but nothing is yet set in stone although the deal looks as though it is going to happen with various sources stating that it’s done.
At Celtic’s AGM, Postecoglou was frank in saying that some players will eventually have to be told to facilitate other transfer moves that will allow Celtic to progress forward.
That could potentially mean that players could head out the door after the World Cup but at this point that is simply an unknown as it will still be important for the manager to retain the core of this current Celtic side.
Although the rumours about Kobayashi appear to be strong, former Celtic midfielder Peter Grant doesn’t see any room for improvement in the Hoops squad as things stand and doubts they will add anything major in the January window.

“I’ll be surprised (if they improve) anywhere, to be honest with you, unless they get an unforeseen injury or lose players, which I don’t think will happen in this window,” said Peter Grant speaking on Go Radio.
“I think they’ve got a very strong group. You don’t want to have too many.
“Unless you’re getting some people out the door, I think that’s maybe where you could see some movement. Some people maybe going out on loan that’s been on the periphery.
“But I think if everybody keeps fit between now and then, I’d be very surprised.
“I think that’s the way (Ange) will look at it and he’ll be more geared towards the summer time.”
The Hoops brought in four new recruits last January and giving players a flavour of the club for the remaining months of a season could be important in terms of preparation for European football.
