Former Celtic Flop Smashes Four Goals in His Debut for New Club

We reported a few weeks back on former Celtic striker Amido Balde finding a new club.

The flop frontman joined Persebaya Surabaya, an Indonesian professional football club based in Surabaya.

When he was announced by the club their social media pages posted a video of the player which showed some of his few Celtic goals which got Persebaya fans excited. It looks like they had a right to be after the player smashed FOUR goals into the back of the net on his debut.

His new team blew away Persinga Ngawi 8-0 with the big man grabbing half of the goals on the day.

This is Amido Balde’s 15th club in his career as the player looks for a good fit. Has e possibly found an unlikely one in Indonesia?

Amido was signed by Neil Lennon to be a target man and a number 9 but it never really got going. He was brought in the same time as Teemu Pukki and both struggled for goals at Celtic Park.
