Former Celtic Flop makes SPFL return

Former Celtic midfield Youssef Mulumbu has made a return to SPFL side Kilmarnock for a third spell at the Ayrshire club

Mulumbu was one of, former manager Brendan Rodgers, last signings at the club in the summer window of the 2018/19 season

The midfielder only featured three times for the club, starting two of those games, against RB Salzburg and in a disappointing defeat to his current side, Kilmarnock. He made a late substitute appearance in the famous 2-1 victory over RB Leipzig

Many felt, at the time Mulumbu was a strange signing and a panicked one. He ended up back on loan at Killie, later that season as a result of little, to no game time.

Over his last two spells in Ayrshire, he has looked a good signing for them. After a brief spell out of football without a club, they will be hoping he can get back to those levels.
