Former Celtic Duo Tipped for Aberdeen Dugout Role

The man who convinced Scott Brown to head north and pull on the red of Aberdeen has been sacked after a string of underwhelming performances.

Stephen Glass was relieved of his duties at Pittodrie with his coaches also being sent packing — however — Scott Brown still remains with the Celtic legend being registered as a player as well as a coach.

Broony was made Aberdeen captain this summer by Glass and he’s one of the most senior players in the side. The Dons haven’t intimated who will take charge of the team’s next game — but there has to be a chance Scott will step into the dugout for the game. There’s also chatter of former Celtic player Barry Robson getting a call up from coaching the reserves. [Scottish Express]

The quadruple treble winning captain is nearly a year through a two year deal with Aberdeen. It will be interesting to see if he sees things out up north.

Broony has been taking his coaching badges for years and has a desire to manage when he hangs up his boots.
